Our help for Puerto Rico

Posarelli Interni is proud to have contributed and participated, through Oliver Posarelli, in the humanitarian mission in Puerto Rico organized by the non-profit organizations SBP and Marquette University. The initiative was carried out by a group of Marquette student-athletes who helped rebuild the homes of some families that were affected and damaged by the hurricane Maria.

Hurricane Maria has radically upset the island causing damage to homes, public buildings, transport vehicles and has even blocked electricity transmission across the island for a total estimate of 35 billion in damages. Although two years have already passed since the tragedy, there are still many families who find themselves in situations of serious hardship due to the scarce economic resources necessary to finance the construction work. At the same time, the state is unable to bear with the costs, thus, it is in these specific cases that SBP intervenes, to reduce the time between a natural disaster and the beginning of new growth.
